Feature: an excellent use of the strike through varnish technique to accentuate the dull/gloss effect without having to make special coating plates, apply dull varnish with a regular printing plate to achieve the detail (photographs and other
graphics to have the gloss effect), a full gloss coating is applied, the non-dull varnish areas are glossy and the areas where dull varnish was applied remain dull because the gloss coat dulls down as it cures, the dull/gloss effect is particularly enhanced when a gloss stock is used.
